Royden Radowits finished in sixth place of the Men’s 1500 metre race on Thursday night at the Canada Summer Games.

The Drayton Valley runner had a time of 3:58.56.  He was more than two seconds behind the third place spot.

A second local athlete gets their chance at some hardward.  Whitecourt’s Danae Keddie will go for long distance glory, competing in the women’s 5000 m race.

That will begin just after 6:30.

Alberta sits fourth in the medal standings, with two golds, eight silver and seven bronze.
