Hundreds of people packed Ravine Drive in Whitecourt Tuesday evening, paying tribute to Radek and Ryder MacDougall.
The 11 and 13 year old boys were found dead Monday morning, along with their 39 year old Father Corry MacDougall. Mounties on Tuesday announced it was ruled a murder – suicide.
Their biological Mother Tracy Stark took a moment to address the people gathering.
A moment of silence was held, followed by close friends and family members lighting Chinese lanterns.
Whitecourt Wolverines Owner Brent Stark addressed the crowd, thanking all who showed up.
Brent expressed gratitude for all the support they have received from the community.
The Whitecourt Wolverines paid tribute to the boys with decals on their helmets.

It was a sea of red throughout the vigil with dozens of former teammates in the crowd, dawning Whitecourt Minor Hockey jerseys.
Plans for a funeral have not yet been announced.
