We’re approaching five weeks to the municipal election in Alberta. Even closer is the deadline to declare your candidacy, which is September 18th.

We have another resident of Whitecourt stepping forward, in a bid to become a town councilor.  Ray Hilts will appear on the ballot this Fall.

Hilts, who describes himself as a fiscal conservative, has been active with the Alberta Forest Alliance in the region. He joins Dana Kentner and all incumbent councilors running this October.
