For the third time in the hamlet’s history, Peers has produced a multi-million dollar lottery win.

Yellowhead County’s Brett McCoy and Robin Walker were the lucky winners of the lotto max draw on September 22nd.

They’re taking home the entire jackpot of $60 million, the biggest prize in Alberta’s history.

McCoy and Walker were presented with their prize at a cheque presentation in St. Albert.

Still overwhelmed with their win, they say they have no immediate plans for the money.
