AB School Rankings; Large Drop for Whitecourt School

The Fraser Reports annual report card on Alberta’s high schools was released this weekend.

A good showing for one Whitecourt school, Hilltop.  They improved 38 spots versus their five year average, they are ranked 128th.

It was not a good showing for another Whitecourt school, St. Josephs.  They fell 108 spots compared to their five year average, coming in this year at 231 out of 274 schools.

The top school on the list was Holy Redeemer in Edson, at 111th.

Other areas, Onoway was tied with Hilltop, while Barrhead was slightly behind the two at 141st.  Holy Trinity and Frank Maddock in Drayton Valley along with Mayerthorpe High School were tied at 157th.  Edson’s Parkland Composite was 173rd.  Evansburg’s Grand Trunk was 224th.
