Last night Whitecourt town council held their last council meeting of this term before the October 16th municipal election. One of the items discussed included an update on the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

One of the other items discussed was the Whitecourt and District Heritage Society receiving $45,000 to proceed with future projects.

Council also had the opportunity to award the vitalization grant applications to help spruce up businesses in the downtown core.
