A little bit more information is known now about the events that lead to the death of a 16 year old female Thursday.  Mounties say an unrelated call came and upon an inspection of a building in the 54th Street and 24th Avenue area, a car was founding running with the female and a 17 year old male.

The pair were unconscious and RCMP noted the smell of exhaust fumes inside. The female was pronounced dead at the hospital and the 17 year old is still in critical condition.

Corporal Chris Warren on if this can be ruled as just an accident.

RCMP say foul play is not suspected.

One student was attending Drayton Valley’s Community Outreach School and the other Frank Maddock.
