A crowd of 40 plus people showed up to the Mayerthorpe Legion Thursday evening. A majority of them were up in arms about the decision to close the TD Bank this spring, as it merges with the Barrhead branch.
A number of the issues were centred around the senior population in Mayerthorpe and either their reluctance to travel to Barrhead once the bank closes or their unfamiliarity with online banking.
