New affordable housing units could be coming to Whitecourt sometime in the near future.
A community consultation session was held Tuesday in Whitecourt to give information and receive feedback on public housing in the town.
The Wellspring Family Resource and Crisis Centre are hoping to build a new facility to hold a shelter and affordable housing units, among other things, in the near future.

Wellspring is working with the Alberta Rural Development Network in the project to secure a location within the town and additional funding for the multi-million dollar facility.
