Whitecourt PARTY Program Aims at Teaching Youth Smart Driving Choices

Grade nine students participated in workshops with members of the Whitecourt Fire Department, EMS, and RCMP on Wednesday as part of the PARTY Program.

Students from St. Joeseph’s and Hilltop high schools watched an accident scenario be recreated and listened to presentations on distracted driving from RCMP and Victim Services.

The PARTY Program runs each April through Alberta Health Services.

The program is aimed at teaching youth about the dangers and consequences of distracted driving before they can drive themselves on the roads.
