Community volunteers and members of the Whitecourt Fire Department participated in a Fire Smart cleanup on June 2nd, as part of National Wildfire Community Preparedness Day.

Volunteers worked along Poplar Drive and Flats Road cleaning up and taking down dead trees and brush along the roads to help prevent the potential for wildfires.
