The Lessard Lake Campground that was having water problems this summer is finally back to normal. One of the wells at the campground was causing contamination issues since the middle of June.
Following the hard work from Public Works, the situation was finally resolved. The well is now completely functional and available for the public to use.
Samples from the well were taken last week and the results were approved from Alberta Health on Friday. Council also agreed to continue to refund $400 to each of the 5 owners who purchased seasonal campsites that were affected by the well.
