Barrhead RCMP Charge Former School Board Employee With Fraud

A former Pembina Hills School Board employee has been arrested and faces numerous fraud charges.

Barrhead RCMP arrested 55-year-old Colleen Symyrozum-Watt of Busby, Alberta on June 25th, 2018 and charged her with two counts of fraud over $5000, two counts of fraud under $5000, and criminal breach of trust.

It is alleged that as an employee, the accused submitted fraudulent claims to the school board between November 2014 and January 2017 in excess of $18,000.

Symyrozum-Watt was released and is scheduled to appear in Barrhead Provincial Court on September 11th, 2018.
