Brett Kissel Performing Benefit Concert for Edson Boy

Canadian country star Brett Kissel will be in Edson tonight as part of his We Were That Song Tour Part 2, but tonight’s show will be a little more special.

Kissel will be performing with special guest and local artist Tyler Babiuk as part of a benefit concert for 6-year-old Parker Martin, a local Edson boy battling a brain tumour.

Event organizer Danielle on the other activities being offered at the “A Miracle for Parker” concert.

Danielle says she and her husband are friends with Kissel and had wanted him to do a show in Edson for a while. Upon learning of Parker’s diagnosis, they contacted Kissel about doing a show and he agreed, making it part of his tour.

The show is taking place at the Edson curling rink golf and golf country club starting at 7:30 pm.

A ball tournament will also be held in Parker’s name this weekend in Edson called Play for Paker.
