Edson RCMP arrested a man last week after receiving a suspicious person complaint.
On November 2nd, Edson RCMP responded to a complaint in the rural Edson area of a suspicious person on a quad who was trespassing on private property.
After locating the quad, police attempted to stop the man and he tried to flee, but ended up backing the quad into the back of an RCMP vehicle and was then arrested.
Investigators learned that the quad had been reported stolen a few days prior and that the male had just broken into two residences prior to police contact.
45-year-old Christopher Walter Taylor has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property, two counts of break and enter and committing theft, attempted theft, possession of break and enter tools, possession of weapons, obstruction of a police officer, and possession of methamphetamine.
Taylor has been remanded into custody and Edson RCMP continues to investigate the incident.
