At their council meeting last week, Woodlands County scheduled an open house to take place in January for residents that live in the vicinity of Pine Meadows up to the power station, to talk about the potential for a future highway bypass.

The County has been looking at the idea of where a bypass would likely go on Highway 43 in 50 to 100 years from now and want to ensure that no more development occurs in the areas of interest to keep the space open.

Woodlands County Mayor Jim Rennie on the process.

The open house will take place on Monday, January 28th from 5:30 to 7 pm.
