Woodlands County has appointed a new Chief Administrative Officer.
The County announced today they have hired Paul Hanlan to take over the CAO role and responsibilities for Woodlands County, effective February 11th.
The CAO is the key leadership role within the County administration, and Hanlan brings over 20 years of experience within municipal government in both urban and rural settings.

Hanlan has previously worked for Parkland County, the City of Spruce Grove and most recently for the Town of Stony Plain.
The County had been searching for a new CAO since October, after the departure of long-time former CAO Luc Mercier.
