The Whitecourt Youth Advisory Committee will be holding two town hall meetings at Whitecourt schools next month.

Members are required to attend meetings at their respective schools as part of the committee, including planning the meetings and showing leadership skills.

The purpose of the Town Hall meetings is to educate youth on municipal governance. It will also provide an opportunity for members of Town Council to be introduced to the youth, explain what their regular jobs are, and talk about the reasons why they became involved in municipal government.
