A Volunteer Income Tax Program is coming to residents of Yellowhead and Parkland Counties. The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program has volunteers registered with the Canadian Revenue Agency who will help residents with their taxes at no price.

The program was introduced by the Yellowhead County’s Family and Community Support services.

To be eligible, your tax returns must be simple, you must also be a resident of Yellowhead or Parkland County, and have a low income.

If eligible, you can drop off your T4’s, T5’s, donations, medical expenses and the previous year’s income tax return at either the Yellowhead County office, Entwistle Library, Edson Friendship Centre FCSS, and Town of Hinton FCSS.

You will be contacted at a later date to pick up your tax return. The program hours are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon; then 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday at the Wildwood Office, and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday at the Edson Office.
