The Allan and Jean Millar Centre has entered into an agreement with a new corporate sponsor.
JR’s Pressure Service is partnering with the Millar Centre and will have naming rights of the fieldhouse, as per the agreement.
“JR’s Pressure Service is very pleased to officially announce our sponsorship of the fieldhouse at the Allan and Jean Millar Centre. We recognize the importance of an active lifestyle for individuals and families. The facilities and programs available at the Millar Centre are first class, and we are proud to partner with a facility like this and contribute to our community,” President of JR’s Pressure Service, John Carter, said in a statement.
Whitecourt Mayor Maryann Chichak added, “I would like to thank JR’s Pressure Service for its commitment and investment in our community. The fieldhouse at the Allan and Jean Millar Centre is a dynamic, unique and important component of this facility; and is enjoyed by residents and visitors of all ages for various programs, sports, events and leisure activities.”
The Town of Whitecourt says sponsorships, donations, and advertising revenues make it possible for the Town to expand its programs, services, and initiatives while reducing the need for additional user fees or tax revenues.
