Occupational Health and Safety is investigating after a worker was killed this week at an RV business in Spruce Grove.
A 57-year-old man died after a workplace incident around 1 pm on Monday, March 11th at Grove RV and Leisure, according to an OHS spokesperson.
OHS says the incident involved towing a fifth-wheel RV with a tractor, and they are continuing to investigate the death, which is the latest in a string of recent workplace fatalities in the province.
Also on Monday, a 31-year-old man suffered fatal injuries after being struck by heavy machinery at a work site about 60 kilometres south of Grande Prairie.
On March 4th, a 37-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle at a business on a rural property south of Grande Prairie.
And later that same day, a 45-year-old man died in Leduc when he fell from a fourth-floor balcony at an apartment building that was undergoing renovations.
