Woodlands County Council this week made some revisions to policies under the Community Standards Bylaw.
One update was in regards to the idling of large trucks in the County and the noise they make in early morning hours.
Mayor Ron Govenlock on updating the bylaw.
Under the bylaw, no one will be permitted to run heavy machinery or equipment or large motor vehicles that will make excess noise during times that are designated as “night-time” hours.
And no one must let equipment or vehicles idle longer than 20 minutes, unless the temperature is below -15 degrees.
