The non-profit organization Colour Me Worthy held a meet and greet fundraising BBQ today in support of mental health week.

The BBQ was held outside the Whitecourt Chamber of Commerce building from 11 to 1.

Colour Me Worthy’s Jen Frizell says the money raised from the BBQ will help fund their support group work.

They were selling hot dogs or hamburgers with a beverage and bag of chips for $5 each.

Colour Me Worthy supports individuals navigating mental health, addiction and homelessness. The organization also helps those individuals access additional support services in the community.
