Yellowhead County will be doing a number of major road pavement rehabilitation projects this construction season.
The county will be upgrading parts of their 250 kilometres of paved road network system.
The work is scheduled to commence starting this week and is planned to be completed by the end of this summer, weather depending.
The road rehabilitation work is being done by E. Construction Ltd. throughout the county and includes various sections of road, as well as the Wildwood truck fill and Wildwood Complex parking lot.
Other locations include Rochfort Road, Reno Road, Wildwood Old Highway, Range Road 92 over Lobstick River, Niton North Road, Niton North Road over Lobstick River, Carrot Creek Loop, Old Highway 16 over Carrot Creek, Edson River Bridge on Tom Hill Tower Road, Robb Road Access, Valley Drive, and pavement settlement repairs.
The county says the work being done will help extend the life and usage of these areas, which will result in a better road system and safety for traffic on these routes.
Once construction begins, motorists are asked to be aware of work crews on the roadway and to slow down and obey all signage.
