Information will be available tonight for Woodlands County residents who wish to know more about the inter-municipal collaboration agreements between the County and Town of Whitecourt.
A public open house is taking place at 7:00 at the Westward Community Centre.
Residents are encouraged to attend, as Council will give them the opportunity to ask questions and provide their feedback and concerns.
In light of recent comments made last week at Whitecourt’s council meeting, in which the Town has threatened to end the Water/Wastewater Agreement if Woodlands ends the Tax Revenue Sharing Agreement, County Mayor Ron Govenlock hopes the open house will give some clarity to his residents.
Govenlock says another open house is being planned for August 6th in Fort Assiniboine for eastern county residents to have the same opportunity to give feedback.
