A man was arrested in Spruce Grove last week for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after he failed to stop for police.
On October 31st, Parkland RCMP attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle failed to pull over and was driving erratically.
A spike belt was successfully deployed but when officers went to make contact with the driver he tried to drive away and struck two police vehicles.
No one was injured in the incident.
32-year-old Daniel Harris of Parkland County is charged with flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, resisting a peace officer, and two counts of assaulting a peace officer.
Harris remains in custody for a court appearance in Stony Plain on November 6th.
