With the number of local places now closing their doors to help stop the spread of COVID-19, at least one place in Whitecourt is allowing people to come in and relax.

Echo Society will be allowing people to come in and use their Snoezelen Room free of charge as a way of destressing any concerns they may have about the Coronavirus.

Echo Society manager, Louise Meier says they are here to help people.

The sensory processing room offers calming music and lights for those with sensory or high-stress issues. Meier says the only part of the room not open for use is the ball pit, due to sanitation concerns.

To book an appointment for the Snoezelen Room, call Echo Society at 780-778-2660, extension 0.
