Local high school students will once again be able to earn credits and dig deeper into a career field interest this summer.

Northern Gateway Public Schools is again offering free Career Exposure Summer Boot Camps for students, with this year having them be done virtually.

Boot camps are offered for either one week or two weeks and run from June 30th to July 10th.

Students going into grades 9 to 12 can sign up to take a variety of courses and earn up to three high school credits. This includes students from other school divisions and home school.

Instructors will use a variety of online tools and resources to engage students in both online and hands-on learning from their homes.

Courses run from 9-3 each day and include movie making, art, technology, cooking and baking, hairstyling and esthetics, equine first aid, robotics, and more.

Students can view a list of all courses being offered and register at https://www.ngps.ca/about-us/news/post/register-today-for-our-virtual-career-exposure-summer-bootcamps
