Four people arrested in Fox Creek drug trafficking investigation

Four people have been arrested and are facing drug and weapons-related charges in Fox Creek after RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on August 8th.

During the search, police seized a sawed-off shotgun, a replica firearm, ammunition, a butterfly knife, and cash, along with 2.84 grams of methamphetamine, 0.12 grams of heroin, and four oxycodone tablets.

24-year-old Terrence Bergseth, and 28-year-old Samantha Alley have been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking, possession of an opioid, 2 counts possession of a prohibited weapon, unlawful storage of a prohibited weapon, as well as weapon prohibition breaches.

They remain in custody to appear in court on August 24th in Grande Prairie.

A 21-year-old male and a 26-year-old female were also arrested and charged with drug and weapons-related charges.

They were released on undertakings to appear in court on October 26th in Grande Prairie.
